Paris Saint-Germain dominated the 16th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards on Sunday night in Dubai, claiming seven trophies to cap an unprecedented 2025 season that saw the French club achieve football’s rarest feat: a sextuple.
The ceremony at Atlantis The Royal hotel recognized PSG across institutional, coaching, and player categories following the club’s historic achievement of winning all six available trophies in the 2025 calendar year. Ousmane Dembélé was crowned Best Male Player, adding to his Ballon d’Or and FIFA Best awards from earlier this year. The 28-year-old forward scored 35 goals in 53 appearances last season for PSG, including eight in the Champions League.
“I’m happy to have won all these individual trophies, but I say it all the time, it’s the team that comes first,” Dembélé said at the ceremony. “I’m savoring every moment I’ve had this 2025 season.”
President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi received President of the Year honors, while sporting director Luis Campos and head coach Luis Enrique were recognized for their respective roles in the club’s success. Luis Enrique, who joined Barcelona and Bayern Munich as the only coaches to lead teams to a sextuple, also earned Best Coach honors.psg+3
Young midfielder Vitinha took home Best Midfielder, while 19-year-old Désiré Doué was named Emerging Player of the Year after scoring twice in PSG’s 5-0 Champions League final victory over Inter Milan in Munich on May 31. The dominant performance in Munich secured PSG’s first-ever European Cup.usatoday+3
PSG completed their sextuple by defeating Brazilian side Flamengo in a penalty shootout to win the FIFA Intercontinental Cup in Doha on December 17, just 11 days before the Globe Soccer ceremony. The club also captured the Ligue 1 title, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions, and UEFA Super Cup.beinsports+3youtube
